Akrapovic is an exhaust system manufacturer in Slovenia. Akrapovič initially produced professional exhaust systems for sports motorcycles with six employees. At first he only worked for private teams, his breakthrough came in 1993. That's when Kawasaki Deutschland tried Igor Akrapovič's system on their own Superbike bike - and it turned out to be better than the factory one. After Kawasaki, the small Slovenian company also designed superbike exhaust systems for Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and Ducati. It has now become the market leader.
